Hey everyone, I am new to the PWC world and I am loving it. I have a 1995 HX and a 1999 SPX(pics coming soon) I found this sit due to looking for information for my skis. Hopefully we all can figure out my project.

Welcome aboard, you found the best SeaDoo site.

Snoop around the site, you will find a lot of answers; if not ask away, there are people out here that can help you through about anything SeaDoo ... and other stuff too.

Get maintenance manuals, you can find them on line or on this site as premium member. The manuals are very good.

Check threads here regarding fuel lines and cleaning up fuel system in general, especially if skis have been stored for a while or you do not know the history. You will find in your research here that lean running is the largest problem in lunching 2-stroke engines and about any leak or obstruction in the fuel system will cause lean running.

Have fun, quite a few Florida folks here.

Thanks guys. I want to put a bigger motor in my spx. Any ideas or thoughts. I know a lot of racers that do the buoy racing use different motors, in the GP class they use triples. Not sure if anyone has ever done it yet.....or have advice on how to give me the torque I am looking for.

racerxxx, thank you sir. I will have to get the measurements off the plate to see if it lines up with my mounts. I have seen Blasters that run a triple and I think they get the plate from the same place. I am hoping it works. Also looking for a donor hull, I want to leave my current one alone.....for the family.

Yeah, I gave you bum info. I thought you had a 96spx. Any 720 powered x4 hull should work with that plate. That will not fit an x4 with a 787.

Oh for sure it won't fit your 99. It's for a 720 powered hull. A 787 does not use a belly plate.

ok,, but if I can get a engine conversion plate(same as the belly plate you refer to??) to fit the 1100, I can use the same motor mounts...yes? That is what I am looking to do. That is my biggest concern, I don't want to glass any new mounts in.

Thank you. As I already realize, this is the best site, and I will be needing parts. And advice.
