1996 seadoo speedster well here it goes i ordered a carb rebuild kit due to the other weekend i had an issue of the one motor not reving up past 4000 rpm and i installed the kit in the engine that was give me trouble and cleaned the other carb there was a lot of dirt in both carbs and rust when i put together the side that was causing me trouble still is causing me trouble, now it revs up fine and hits wot, but the mid range is not there, from 4500 to 5000 i cant hold a steady rpm, so i changed the pop off pressure to the black spring that was in the kit, due to a post i read about if at idle you see gas leaking from the center ring that is the cause and after that it worked a bit better but now i just tryed it and with the choke on just a little(like 1/4 way on) it works awsome just like the other engine. so with choke on like this it starts fine and revs out fine, i also tryed to turn out the high speed jet the 1/4 turn it will alow me and no difference, can there be a piece of dirt behind this jet as i didn't remove it when i clean the carbs, is this jet removable or am i just chasing the wrong ideas. are the carbs maybe not clean somewhere along the way and i missed it. oh yah and the compression is 110 psi both cylinders i know a little low but this should not cause this?
