New 2011 RXT 260 slung rod bearing first 45 minutes on it

I have already called Sea Doo they said for me to call back After it is repaired. I plan to ask for a New motor instead of a reworked one since I bought a NEW ski OR a 5 year warranty or BOTH since apparently I received a DUD! To much to ask? I paid $13,000 for what I thought to be top of the line product just to be Extremely Disappointed

I take it that you mean a Conrod bearing? must be an american terminology?
Sorry to hear that, did you get any fault codes appear for oil pressure? or did it catastrophically fail?

Craig - Welcome to the forum. Sorry about the problem with your new ski.

Did the dealer inform you on the break-in policy of a new motor?

If so, did you follow it? Even so, they should cover it under the warranty.

YES, and actually had not even gotten it over 7000 rpm mostly varied 4000-5500 I am holding out for COMPLETE NEW MOTOR and 3 more years added to the 2yr warranty I already have as I DID NOT BUY A RE-MANUFACTURED SKI!
