I cant find anywhere, the model , or year my Seadoo Speedster is,.,
The MPEM is not working properly -
I found 2 fuses blown - replaced them both, does the MPEM reset if they are blown ?
How do I order a new one, if cat find anything about it..
On the unit under the steering wheel it has this ..

----------
CB1E-P-12V ,

acb13310108 made in japan 61121
------------

this is the only thing I can find...
And I googled it, and its only a chip.. not the MPEN unit ?

Please help. See my other threads to get better idea of what my problem is.

Much appreciated.
thanks for your time.

Seadoo....

All Seadoo watercraft come with 2 sets of numbers. The EIN (engine identification number) and the HIN (hull identification number).

The one you are looking for is the HIN. Look on the back of the boat and you will see a plate or some numbers that are engraved into the hull on the right hand side. Usually, just under the swim platform.

The last 2 numbers are going to be the year model the boat was manufactured...........good luck.......

much thanks , will look now,

I have other posts up here regarding this boat, so if you could read over them and tell me if I need to get new MPEM and Key etc or if I need to do otherwise ..

Thank you very much for your time and help, this is a great forum !

Ein

I am trying to identify my engine - I have a 97 GTX - the EIN is 475 1309 - is this a 717 or a 787? A mechanic told me I had the wrong rotary valve and installed a 159 degree valve - now it will not start. How can I tell?

New guy... don't hijack threads. please start your own to get answers of what mat be wrong. Also... this is the boat section. Put your thread in the PWC section.

But, a 97 GTX will have an 800 engine.
