Need parts to rebuild 95xp800-sources?

I am rebuilding my xp800 and I need a reliable source for original parts, used, salvage, etc...

Right now, I specifically need a water box for a 1995xp800, and I am looking for a umi handle bar set as well.

Any thoughts on a good source for these type of parts?

Try minnetonka4me on this forum. Also if you have a 95XP you've got a 720 engine not a 787. Check the HIN (hull identification number), right rear just under the rub rail, the last two numbers is the year. Also you might want to list this under buy/sell/trade on this forum.

Lou... There was both an XP720, and XP800 in 95. In 96, there was only the XP800.

Dr Honda is right. They made 500xp 800 in 1995, in order to be homologated for racing.

The 95 782cc was a bit more aggressive in the porting, and a bit faster than the subsequent x4 hulls released with the 787. The speed difference came mainly from the extended pump, but you can hear the difference in porting as well.

Mine was one of the first produced and has the 782cc engine in order to race in the 785 class.

I used to have a great part supplier, out of Cali I think, but I lost the name.
