Need more power to pull Tube on 02 4tec

My 02 4tec struggles on start off when pulling someone on tube. Maybe it is 2003? the date on engine is: 06/2003

Any advice for better "out of hole" power?
Not wanting to spend lots of money but thought might be a few hundred dollar (or less) fix.

A skat-track swirl impeller is known for "out of the hole" performance. They are normally what I put in my toys. I've probably personally owned 15 of them over the years... and have never been disappointed.

Would this kill my top end performance? Not that I am a speed freak....but I am...hehe

Someone said something about changing the bottom plate would help? any thoughts?

I was going to suggest the same as Lou.

In SOME cases you may lose top end speed but many that have the Skat Track have stated they lost no top end. Many impellers are designed to give you something specific, such as top end or bottom end. When they are designed like that, you often lose the other end. Meaning, if you bought an bottom end (out of the hole) impeller, you would lose top end speed.

In your case, the Skat Track will be best for you as you are not wanting to add other items that can increase the actual power or increase engine RPM's.
