Ok, long story short i do not know much about jet skis but here we go.
My ol' ladys cousin has two 2009 sea doo RXP 255's. He bought them at the end of last season. Both machines will not start. I dont think he winterized them and being that hes not the most mechanically inclined i fear he is in some trouble. I pulled the seat and stuff off and pulled the plugs off of machine A. I cranked over and a rusty looking fountain came out of all 3 cylinders, which also worried me. BUT it was turning over freely. I turned on the water from the hose and it started back filling into the most rear cylinder and coming out of the spark plug hole. If i put my finger over the hole it started to come out of the middle cylinder, and if i plugged the middle one it did not come out of the front cylinder. Is this bad because i have read mixed things on the internet about it back filling. Machine B had a dead battery so we couldnt start it, but we hooked up the hose and no water leaked into any of the cylinders with it off, which confused me further. he changed the oil in both machines already but will need to do them again. so should i get all water out of the cylinders in both machines, put a little gas in the cylinders, replace plugs, and try to fire then turn hose on? I wont get a chance to work on them again tuesday. I hope for his sake that its not headgaskets or a warped head or worse. Thanks you guys taking your time to read this and any help would be appreciated.
