NEED HELP Wake pro 215 wear ring
Just baught a Wake pro 215 and wake 155,The first day I launched them the 215 would not accellarate (it would rev just no boost) after a couple throttle shots it launched like a rocket. We rode for a few hours that day with no more problems. I put bothe skis in the water 3 more times after that and had no issues, everything ran great. Launched again on July fourth and idled past the nowake zone about 200 yards, when I went to accelarate NOTHING just the the first time off the trailer, I tried a few time like before and then got an alarm and the engine shut and the ski started sinking. Got back on trailer and took to dealer and was told I must of sucked up rocks and shreeded the wear ring (which I know for a fact didnt happen and I Launched the first time and the time it sunk in deep marinas) So in short Sea Doo is trying to stick it to me with 8Hrs on my Ski. Does anyone have any insight in dealing with Sea Doo Thanks in Advance (and I'll have pics to follow shortly)

Everything you're describing is consistent with you sucking something into your pump and damaging the wear ring. However that will not cause it to sink so that's a separate problem. And the wear ring is not covered under warranty because it is a wear part as far as I know. You could try a different dealer for a second opinion but it sounds like their diagnosis is quite accurate from what you described.

I could understand that if it wasnt for the fact it happened right off the trailer in 8+foot of water,,,,,,

Right off the trailer is about 2 feet of water. Limited info without pictures, but sounds like you sucked up debris damaged the wear ring, impellar, as well as the carbon seal that most likely lead to flooding.

Rocks aren't the only thing you can suck into the jetpump, sticks and other brush can float just beneith the surface of the water I drove my RXT right past a submerged branch the other weekend myself. Anything you suck in there can do damage to the wear ring and cause the issues you describe. The wear ring didn't tear itself up, face the fact there.

Anyways, what does a damaged wear ring have to do with it sinking exactly? Your story still has big holes in it. Wear rings are cheap and easily replaced, sunken hulls are a bit more of a problem though!
