Hi guys

Im new here, Im hoping one of you can lend a hand........

I have a 2008 RXT 255. ( 51 hours ) I've had it for 11 months now. Things a beast and I was thinking of upgrading a few parts to get more top end out of it. I'm pinned right around 70 MPH or what ever the tack and speedo max's out at.

Last week we went ridding... ( We go 2-4 times a week. )

Anyway. I was rolling at 70 for a few hours. Then all of a sudden I lost 5-7 MPH? Now the ski runs fine..no smoke, clacking noise etc. I ran some sea foam in it..new fresh high octane gas. No change.

Before the power was down it ran 70 MPH at 8000 RPMs. I would go into a turn at 70 and the speed would maybe drop to 66-67 at the most. Now I go into a turn and it drops to 55-57?? And the RPM's wont go higher than 7850. Top speed 64-65 and that's a maybe.

I took it to the dealership. They ran a few tests. Compression was fine. They said they did some type of test on the super charger where they hold the hose in and rev the throttle? Then if the hose flex's out it's fine? The said the impeller was good and the pump was good also. It's under warranty until next month and I do plan on getting the extended warranty at that time. My only concern is if they cant find the problem I'm going to get into a shouting match come Monday morning once the service manager gets in.

Can anyone suggest anything that might cause this problem??

Thanks for any help

Rick
