Looking for a good GPS for the Great Lakes and smaller inland lakes, Traverse Bay (an offshoot of Lake MI). It would be nice if the unit was dual auto and marine but that is not a must. Willing to spend around $500.

Depth as part of the electronics pakage would be a plus, hoiwever the 180 SE I have does have a depth finder

Xog

you need a Lowrance XOG cheap and good quality Lowrance started out with Marine Navigation. also detailed software of Gret lakes available. Just my 2 cents. That's what I use in my Speedster with a Ram Mount by steering wheel.

:agree: I have a lowrance fish finder w/ depth and it is so nice I upgrade to the better model because it was so durable and hardy.
