Guys,

Hate me now or hate me later......I just returned from my trip to Captiva Island. We stayed at South Seas Plantation resort aboard my Sister and Brother-In-laws 55' Searay. We ran the big boat down on Friday night from St. Pete to Captiva while my wife trailered down the Utopia.

We got one entire full day of Utopia fun. We did a tremendous amount of running...I mean alot of running around. We went from Captiva all around Pine Island(big island let me tell you) as well as 2 hours of tubing and Wakeboarding. All this on 1/2 tank of fuel. The Twin 4-tec 310hp power package is damn efficient!!!:hurray::cheers::hurray::cheers:

Hope you enjoy the pictures.

Craig

:cheers:Were not mad just a little jealous! Had Sounds like you had a good time, Got plenty of hours on it. Any issues? Pic look great too.

No issues really.

Tony,

We put perhaps 5 hours on it. The boat ran great. I still have that intermittent vibration sound at idle speed that Barneys of St. Pete needs to address. I also noticed that at Idle speed both tachs read identical but with any throttle applied the starboard engine reads 250-400 rpms higher than the port engine. Wondering if there is a cable adjustment I can make to sync them up??

I know that on mine there is a dial that you can adjust on the starboard egine it under the plate that holds the adjuster. Just have someone drive and you can adjust it. Great to hear.

Sweet!

Tony,

I'll look at it this weekend and see if I have the same setup. Thanks for the tip!

Any chance you get your boat back for this weekend?

Craig

JOA said last week that they are working on it today? Will see? I have tile back splash to this weekend:ack:

Craig you're killing me. It will be at least another month before my boat hits the water, and more like two months before it will be warm enough to swim.:ack:

Pictures look awesome though. You need to get some action shots one of these times.

Aaron:cheers:

What a dingy?!!

:nopity::driving:Just kidding. Wow, great pics and sounds like a blast! I second Rookie's complaint. Still haven't had a chance to put the boat in water.....
