Hello, I am planning on docking my boat at the Mullica River marina this year. I was told that in the area of the marina we cannot water ski or any otehr type of water sports and that I had to go out about 5 miles past 2 bridges where its legal to water ski etc. Anyone know anythign about this? I plan to use my 2008 Seedoo challenger for water sports this year in a fresh water area. Anyone familiar with the laws of Mullica River? It would be a big help. Also if anyone ever used the services at Mullica River Marina and would like to share thier experience would be great. Thanks

I remember having to get past the the 2nd bridge as a kid when we would ski. My uncle owned the Forks for the last 25 years, way up past the Sweetwater Casino. Most of that river is no wake, to narrow for water sports, the channel is pretty narrow above the bridges.

Thanks for the info. So in your opinion should I stay away from the mullica? I thought that was a hot spot for jet skis and all. area i seen looked nice from the doc of Mullica River Marina. So i guess thats why they say get below the 2nd bridge before you bring out teh ski. I guess its open up more down that way? I will be stuck on the mullica all season as I planned to doc my boat there. Just wanna make sure i am making the right decision. Any other places besides the nasty delaware river and the congested shore area? Thanks

Mullica River

Head out on the Mullica River to you see the Route 9 bridge, about 1 half a mile before, there will be a nice spot just to your Port side (Left) that will take you back to a great spot that you can run all the way back towards Sweetwater, you can have plenty of nice water back there, it is plenty deep.

Also try out the Maurice River....from Millville to Port Norris

Try the Delaware

I know it's post season but....for next year the Delaware has some great places to ski and tube. Exit 57 off 295 at Bordentown is easy to get to and also a $10 launch fee. There is skiing and tubing really close to the launch and a there is sand bar and bays to anchor. You can go up to Lambertville and Bulls Island for free launch and really pretty countryside. It's a bit further but worth the trip. I live in Marlton and tow in/out. I have a Seadoo PWC and Yamaha jet boat.
Cheers.
