Mpem question

Will a mpem and matching dess key from a 97 challenger 1800 boat work on a 97 xp. New to the Seadoo world. Thanks for any help.

I'm not a boat expert, but I believe if you have a working MPEM for a Challenger 1800 it's worth more than the 97XP. Sell the Challenger MPEM, buy a MPEM for the 97XP and send me the change. (LOL)

Thanks for the advice. I've got the whole boat, I guess I'm going to sell then. I pulled the motors and pumps out of it as backups for my 98 challenger 1800 and the rest of the boat is just setting there. But at the same time I have aquired a 96 xp and am picking up a 97 xp on Saturday that the mpem is out on. So that's why I was asking.

Go to ebay and search MPEM there is a guy there who sells new aftermarket units and they are cheap as chips. and even better they don't require keys to be coded to the MPEM unit. let me know if you cant find him and I will check my records. Hope this helps:cheers:
