Ideas please... Bought the 2012 Seadoo 155 new. Ran great last year. At 25 hours the maint. required light appeared - knew this was for the oil change. Parked for the winter at 26 hours and did the complete oil change. Took it out this summer, no problems - runs great. At 27 hours, the maint. required message reappeared. Its somewhat sporadic. The machine did get flipped at 28 hours, but we cleared it out and had no issues. Now has 30 hours, running great, but the maintenance required message keeps appearing. Seems to appear less when its been running for a bit. Any ideas?

No, didn't clear the code... it sat without battery for 6 months over winter.. don't think the maint. required was coming at first...but maybe it was..I was so happy winter was done didn't really look at the messages whe she started up... what's a candoo?

Candoo is a diagnostic tool.... It does clear codes like dealer BUDS system... Anyway, i heard from other members here and there about similar issue... They ended up with a sensor issue... Others, after changed the oil, they forgot to clear the code with CanDooPro or with the dealer... Others say, it take a few starts to clear the code by itself after changed the oil...

I recommend to clear the code at your dealer or get a candoopro machine and do it yourself... Read your shop manual... Check what it says...

Ahhh.. OK.... I'll let the owner know they either have to live with it, or take it to the dealer to have the light turned off.
Thanks for the reply!!!

I just have an issue with spending money on something that limits the use. The exact same machine unlimited is SOME much more money that it isn't funny. I'm not cheap at all, but i have an issue with how they sell this specific product.

I have one and it's been invaluable - but I do have an issue with the VIN slots....it holds 15.

You get 4 with the machine. I plan to buy 5 at a time for $250 rather than $99 for 1 or 2 for $150.

15-4 original - 5 bought - 5 bought =1 left over....that I'll need to pay $99 for.

You should get 5 with the machine.
