The big guest battery on/off switch seems to be going bad, are they repairable or just replaceable?

The switch now turns 'on' power when the dial is pointing about halfway between on and off, but has no power when the dial is in the on position.

Depending on what type you have, most are sealed. I wouldn't think they are repairable anyway. Not saying they aren't, I haven't took one apart. But, from what you describe, it sounds like the switch has worn in to the point the connectors only make contact at certain points while turning.

Because they aren't really that expensive, I think I'd rather have piece of mind that it works correctly. I'd say buy a new one.

If it is the same as most of the other boats, its like $35 to swap out. Is it made by perko?

Its's the one made by guest... it still works, just not in the on/off positions. I'll pick up a replacement on ebay.

Thanks!
