Went out the other day both motors started up fine, started pulling the kids on a tube and after about 10 mins I started to heat a slight howl noise, thought it was the typical captain paranoid sound and get going, everything seemed fine on plain, but was running normal. As I came down to idle speeds the port engine or drivetrain sounded like something was out of alignment or was not secured. I’m not sure if it’s engine or driveline but something was wrong. Shut it off the. Turned it back on and same thing. Didn’t try to get on plane so I just limped back on one engine. Everything looked fine in the engine compartment but really don’t know what to do to trouble shoot. When we pulled it out of the water nothing looked odd underneath. It’s a 2002 Sportster LT with twin 85s
