Looking for new grips

Not much help, but I'm wondering if something like ATV grips with lots of grip glue would work. Mine came with some awful cobbled on grips sporting electrical tape and zip tie retention. Actually now that I think about it those clamp on mountain bike grips may work as they always seem to be running thicker and thicker bars. It's all about matching bar diameter to grips (motorcycle or anything with a twist throttle won't work as they have a larger internal diameter on one side to accommodate the throttle).

don't bother with a scoop is my first thought,but some people say that they notice a difference between stock grate, and others, I never did.
actually i just put my grate back on, it had been off for 6 months, had to remove it on the shoreline, to get my dam hat out that I ran over (silly me) so i left it out for the rest of the ride, and picked up a little speed, so I left it off. I'm what they call a swamp rider (mostly smooth water) so it didn't affect me much.

Agreed, I got a set of ODI Rogue 120mm grips for my 97 GTX, they are really nice, as said in another thread, you have to add a small length of pipe to the end of the handle bar, but that was relatively easy.
Liked them so much I just ordered a second set for my other GTX
Mine fit perfect without add a piece of pipe, I've got the ODI rogue grips on my three skis.

I just put ODI X-treme's on the 96 XP and my kids love them. It seems that as they rode more and more the grips became a little more "tacky". I was a little concerned that they would be too small but so far so good. Didn't have to do any mods to the bars and slipped on easy as pie! :cheers:

one thing i'll say about the ODI's,, they are tuff little buggers, good quality product !
