I am looking at a used motor in Brea California and was wondering if anyone knew the reputation of Atlantis Powersports. The price seems right and I just want to know if anyone has any experience with them?
Thanks,
Dale

No warranty that I know of. I was hoping someone might have dealt with them and could let me know if they are good. Thanks,
Dale

I am in So. Cal and have never heard of them. With any used engine I think you are taking a chance it is bad.

There is a chance they are the same Atlantis Enterprises that makes lanyards and other PWC accessories and if they are the same thy have been around for years.

I bet they are now that I look that name up. Same area and the web site says Atlantis powersports...
Thanks for the help,
Dale

Have you looked at SES? They are in PA just like you and offer a warranty on all their rebuilds.

The problem with SES is they need a good core and mine is toast! So I would have to buy a core to ship to them. The motor I am looking at has everything but the carbs and he said it was rebuilt a year ago and the price seems fair.

Well, the guy lowered the price on the motor to a point where I couldn't refuse. It is complete with mag., carb mounts, and exhaust. I think it will be a good motor as they tested it prior to removal and had 150 psi in each hole and it was checked to see if it was charging and if the oil system was working and if it was charging properly, all systems passed. He had told me that if he had any doubts about the motor he would part it out as it was not worth his reputation to sell a bad motor. So we will see... He seems like a nice guy. Thanks for all the help. Best PWC site on the net!!!! Is it spring yet? LOL
