Ok, I'm trying to sell my 2009 Seadoo because I'm moving to Japan and can't take it with me. (msg me if interested) but my question is the following...

if I have to keep it in storage (next 4 years):
-What do I need to do for it to not go bad on me?
-Do I need to remove all oils, etc or just the fuel?
-How do I leave it? covered or not?
-Should I remove the sparks?
-Leave the seats off?
-Open up the doors open? (you know the one to the battery cut off switch)
-What else?!:nopity:

You can leave it with me and ill make sure it gets used a couple times a year and winterized and all maintenance done. :bigear:

I certainly am no expert on this, but you may want to lower your price a little to get it sold. Unless you get someone in the States to maintain it for you, a vehicle that just sits, with no attention at all can end up with all sorts of problems. You really need someone to take care of it for you. I would think it would need re-fogged at least once or twice a year.

I assume it would be indoor storage? How much do you expect to spend for 4 years of storage? Are you storing it with family for free? Also, consider when you come home, you may need to throw a lot of money into it to bring it back to life.

I hope it turns out ok for you. In the meantime, give RFoster130 a call, he seems willing to "tend" to it for ya!

Sell it, and buy a new boat when you get back. As said above... there can be all kinds of gremlins when you get back.
