Hello. I am putting together my 96 gtx 787 crank cases. Shop manual states Loctite 515. The Seadoo OEM parts distributor drawings with stocklist shows Loctite 518? Any responces would be greatly appreciated.

Don't use any of those on the cases, you should be using ThreeBond 1184 although some use 1211. Use the Loctite on the bolts as suggested in the manual.

Agree loctite 518 on cases threebond is ok but I have found better sealing with prepped cases and 518.threebond sometimes around the rotary valve valley threebond tends to not stick as well.on my pro stock sleds have had some crankcases leak using 3m and tried true yamabond.switched to 518 on everymotor I built and not a problem since
