well i just got a 05 seadoo wake this last weekend, guy tried to start it for me before i got there and hooked the hose up turned it on and then went to start the seadoo big mistake on his part well he didnt know and told me that it must have a dead bat, he didnt say nothing about the hose to me cause thought it was no big deal well i took his advice on battery got it back home and still nothing, pulled the plugs and seen water, pushed start and had my very own fountian. Well long story short we got all the water out that we could and sprayed a bunch of lube in the cylinders, started it up for about 30 sec-1 min and let all the water shoot out of the exhaust. we then checked the oil and it is really milky, i called the seadoo shop they said i need to hook to hose and run for about 2-3 min to warm up engine then suck out all the old oil and take filter out and clean really good, put new oil in and same filter in and then back in water and let it run for 30 min on trailer just idling with oil cap off and it will burn all the water thats left out, then take it back out and change oil one more time and then it should be good to go, it all sounds so easy, but i decided to drop it off for them to do, he said its about 1 hour to 1 and half hour labor so i said id leave it with them, only thing they said they cant get to it till about 1 week. anyone know anything? think it will all be alright? damn thing has me so worried, them at the seadoo shop said no big prob. but never know i was worried about running it for 3 min with milky oil. hope prob dont get worse sitting at shop for week before getting tended to. thanks
