So it has to be plugged somewhere between the nozzle and down in the tank, and I'm gonna replace all tempo lines as soon as I get this problem fixed I'm just not using any tempo line right now

sounds like the on pick up tube is clogged or messed up... I am assuming that you have plenty of gas in the tank. you may want to remove and clean out your fuel tank and pick up tubes.

Ok that's what I was thinking I was hoping there was an easier way than taking the whole tank out to clean the pickup tubes because I already cleaned out the bottom of tank with gas and kept pumping it back out.. Thanks for your help

LouDoo. I've not had the fuel cell in my hand. Do you have some advice for his issue.

Honestly, I haven't been monitoring this thread but I did go back and read the last 10 or so posts, I've never seen a plugged fuel baffle, but just because I haven't seen it doesn't mean it can't happen. Just to eliminate the possibility, run the Seadoo from a gas can. You could also check the pulse line from the engine to the mag. side carb., this is what runs the fuel pump.

It will run off a line from the RES side but not the ON side. So something in there has to be an issue, or the top fitting itself could be plugged with something.

or it could be cracked and sucking air...any reason why he could not just run from the reservoir side permanently?

I would replace the fuel baffle, I replaced the one in my 96GSX because of a fuel gauge problem. I bought a new one for $100 on Ebay, Nick Minnetonka4me should have a good used one for half. It wasn't a real easy job of the GSX it should be easier on the GTX because it's a larger ski.

Just so we're (I'm) clear, you have the fuel line from the baffle connected to the FUEL PUMP, not directly to the carb, right? In the red circle opposite the pulse line, right? I know it's just a technicality of terms but I want to make sure were on the same page.

If you're unsure if the baffle is blocked, just blow back into the line and listen for bubbles. It's just gas, you won't die, I've tasted enough and I'm still fine, sorta.

Try blowing air down the line into the gas tank. Never know what evil stuff could be in the tank. Some piece of plastic or what ever could of been sucked up.

I can blow down in the line and hear bubbles but I still can't pump any out.. I don't know what the problem could be

You answered your question.

You have to look at the fuel pump. It needs a pulse from the crankcase, so if the line is hooked up to the pulse of the fuel pump and the crankcase, I would move to the fuel pump itself. Just for chits and giggs take a glass jar and put the fuel line from the fuel pump into that instead of the tank baffle completely avoiding the fuel strainer and everything. If you cant suck fuel from there the problem is the fuel pump since you took everything else out of the equation.

The fuel pump is working because it will pump from the reserve side just not the "on" side and I'm using a hand pump right now and I can pump fine from the reserve side just not from the "on" side.. Just like the fuel pump

Ok I think I've found the problem.. Which line is suppose to run from the baffle to the fuel pump? Is it the "on" or "ret" because when I got the tank out someone had the "on" hose Hooked to vent!!!

Here is how it is routed.

*

*

*

On the Fuel Baffle

*

ON--goes to the ON port of the fuel selector

RES--goes to the RES port on the fuel selector

RET--This is the return line from the MAG and PTO carbs (but comes off the PTO carb). Single line AFTER the "Y"

VENT-- Vent line

*

To the Selector switch

ON--From the ON port on the baffle

RES--From the RES port on the baffle

OUT--line FROM the selector switch to the IN arrow on the fuel separator. The OUT arrow on the fuel separator goes to the fuel inlet port on the MAG carb.

*

And you're all done

I have not gone back and re-read this post. Did you do a compression test? If so, what were the number?

No I haven't done one but I've found it's leaking water and I think it's coming from the the big purple intake that goes to exhaust I think their might be a small crack in it.. It sounds like it keeps spitting air when u give it throttle

You need to fix the water issue but I strongly reccomend doing a compression test as well. This will tell you the general condition of your engine. Almost anything will run on the trailer,,, Once in the water, the load of the impeller is what makes the difference..
