FYI, an air leak on a 2stroke can be very bad. Causes a lean condition and that will destroy the piston. It also causes less lubricant to get to the engine..

Read up on the carbs / rebuilding / tuning. There is days of reading here on the little critters and the system connected to them.

Got it back together earlier and it ran great now just gotta give it a try in water.. Thanks everyone for your help I really appreciate it, I'll let y'all know how it turns out Saturday!

Ok hooked it to water and ran great for a couple mins on reserve and quit so I turned gas on and wouldn start back so I'm pretty sure the selector switch is the prob.. Is there any reason I can't bypass it to make sure that's the problem?

Bypassing it is no problem, just pay attention and don't run out of fuel.

FIRST,,, a couple of minutes on a hose is WAY to long. The carbon seal will get no cooling while on a hose. Plus, the hose is set up to FLUSH the engine. So it really does not cool the engine.

Yes, you can bypass it. By chance did you replace the fuel lines? If so, you probably swapped some lines. Either at the tank and or at the selector. If you did change the fuel lines, did you remove and clean the fuel selector? If not, it could be plugged with green goo...

Ok I ran a hose from the "gas on" fitting on top of the tank straight to the fuel filter right under the hood and I'm gettin no fuel not even in the filter.. What's the problem?

Run a line from the tank to the engine. Let's see what happens then. No filter, no fittings, no water separator.

Ran a hose from "on" nozzle on pump on top of tank straight to the first carb and nothing, tried it from reserve and still nothing it's like the pump ain't even working

Any ideas on what I can do now? I'm fresh out there's nothing left in me this ski has whooped me over the past week

Sounds like you mixed up some lines when you changed the fuel lines.

Have you poured some premix in the cylinders and see if it will run and then stay running?

I Didn change those lines they are still tempo but I've put a new hose on the "on" nozzle and reserve nozzle on the pump and even held the other end in my hand to see if it was pumping and it's not.. Idk if the fuel pump just all of the sudden died or what happened.. Is there a fuse for it?

If you use a hand vacuum like a brake bleeder from harbor freight you can try to pull the fuel to the carbs. This will let you know the supply side is working and vacuum tight.

just so you know the fuel pump is on the carburetor. so it will not pump fuel from the tank, your carb pump will suck the fuel from the tank. I did not understand if you had replaced the old gray lines or not. If you have not you should and clean the selector passages. you also may need to clean out your fuel tank and pick up.

Ok after I pumped from reserve nozzle I hooked it to carb and it started and ran great on problem is it's gonna be on reserve and that probably won't last long correct? Obviously the gas on nozzle on top of the tank isn't working clogged or something so what can I do about that?

I have a new piece of fuel line ran from tank to carb so obviously the fuel lines nor the selector is the problem because they are both bypassed, already went thru carbs they were clean as could be but cleaned them anyway

There is a ton of other crappy fuel line than the tiny piece you have bypassed

The carbs must be cleaned/rebuilt. No use in doing any of this until this is done and ALL fuel lines replaced

I already cleaned carbs.. I only have one line running from tank to both carbs and one line running straight to the first carb and it's all new line no tempo lines at all and it will run fine from the reserve nozzle but not from "gas on" and I can hand pump fuel from reserve nozzle but not from "gas on"
