jet pump question?

I have a 95 speedster with twin 657x, question is on the bottom of the jet pump nozzel there are two holes for the nozzel adjustment, what effect does the adjustment have on the boats speed and hole shot?

The 2 holes will adjust the position of the nozzle and it will either make it plow the water or raise the bow. Best to leave it where it is.
