Is this armature reusable?

I pulled the starter off my 581cc today and I noticed the armature has a chunk missing. Will I be OK reusing this one or do I need to replace it? Heres a pictures i took with my cellphone...

Its right where the brushes come in contact so I'm worried about it prematurely eating up the brushes. The spines are also worn down pretty bad. Thanks in advance!

That's from an arc, and it melted the copper.

That is usable... but the commutator needs turned down a little.

Ok, thanks! I'll just sand it down so its flush with the others.

Yep...

Yeah, smooth out the burr from the arc so the brushes don't get caught on the edges and tear them up.....
