Is my waterbox damaged?

Just repaired my stator, now I got another mechanical bug on my 98 XP LTD! On my test drive last week I suddenly had less power during I drove... - back to the beach I noticed a huge hole in my exhaust hose that connects the exhaust pipe with the waterbox in the rear. (the rear hull was already filled with water almost up to the batterie poles!!!)
I took the ski out, ordered a new hose and installed it yesterday.
Today I took it out for a new test ride... worked great. But about 30min after driving I had the same probs again. I blew the new hose again!!! This time the hole seems not to be that big and not that much water flew in again.
I also noticed a new hole in the water line that is connested on the top of the elbow. Looks like the hole is melted in. (was definately ok when I started to drive) :toetap05:
What can cause this issue? Could it even be possible that my waterbox is damaged? How can I check it?

you got a clog in your cooling system somewhere, not allowing the water to travel thru the pipe, thats why the "connector" is blowing apart...get'n too hot.

Thanks for the fast answer seadooya!
Fixed the inlet hose at the elbow today and flushed the engine after I finished. (the hole in that inlet hose must be burned in by the elbow I guess). Flushed the engine after I finished, and it looks like it was theonliest bug. Water came out of the side and at the rear as usual during flushing.
Tomorrow I order the new exhaust hose of the rear (that one that exploded again) and hope I'm done for this year then. :chillpill:
So thx for your help again!
Greetings from Germany!
