is it normal for the jet pump nozzle to move up and down on a 1993 seadoo xp?

Hmmm I thought mine was messed up as well since the top has a bushing in it. I made one for the bottom and it holds tight. I'll check my shop manual...

Update: There is supposed to be a sleeve bushing on the lower nozzle screw as well as the upper. It should swivel with relative ease on the venturi. I used a rubber bushing that fit and drilled the center out for the bolt.

Both upper and lower bushings on both of my nozzles are there and there is still a slight movement. I wouldnt worry.
