Intermittent Power Issues, 2008 Seadoo Wake 215

I have owned a 2008 Seadoo Wake 215hp for the past couple of years and have had intermittent power issues.

Sometimes, the Seadoo will completely turn off while riding. Both the engine and electronics fail, and the watercraft must be towed in. After some time (a day or two), the Seadoo will sometimes turn back on, but will soon die again.

I'm not quite sure what the issue is. At first, I thought it might be old gas from when I bought the Seadoo, but we are well past that, and I have put in high octane gas each time. Plus, the electronics not working makes me think it's not the gas.

When I put the key on the post, there is a quiet click that seems to come from the fuse box under the front seat (or somewhere near there), but no electronics come on or anything.

Any suggestions?

After doing quite a bit of research, I'm thinking it's probably either the MPEM or DESS post. Any way to figure out which one?
