I am curious about replacing the impeller 94 GTX Stock Motor

I saw on skat trak that these are recommended for my application14/19 Swirl* or 13/18 Slim Line**

*Suggested for maximum bottom-to-mid range acceleration gains.
** Suggested for maximum top speed gains

My stock pitch is a 15/21 according to my shop manual
Would the 14/19 mentioned above give me more top end as well as more acceleration over the stock pitch, or just more accel and same top end as stock?

I found this on Solas
Is this what I should go with?

I basically want to keep up with my buddies boat when we are out cruising around he cruise at about 45mph. Mine as it sits runs 36 stock (although I am cleaning the carbs this weekend, already did the fuel lines)

An impeller by it self won't give you a 9 mph gain, but your ski should be going faster than 36. Also... you can't compare impeller pitches from 2 different manufactures since they measure them differently.

The Scat-Trak Swirl... hands down... is the best "out of the hole" impeller out there. It prevents cavitaion, and will normally hide other issues with the pump. BUT... they are known to actually loose 1 to 2 MPH up top if your dive system is in good condition. (if it's in need of some love, it may add top speed)

If you want better efficiency, and better long distance riding abillitys... use the Solas Concord. It has a polished surface, and a thin hub. (in their recommended pitch) In turn, giving better top speed.

What ever you decide on, rebuild the drive shaft seal, and replace the wear ring too. You may find that helps add top speed.

TINI71...

What does that have to do with this post?

My 95 gtx runs 55-58 in heat of day, at the crack of dawn on glass 62 with hydrogen at 4psi - what a thrill to be on plane in a breath - if you have stock 650 should be clocking around 55 with driveline in good condition.
