Impeller question and "impeller obstruction extraction tool"

Greetings all, New user here.

I wanted to share a picture of a very low tech, yet effective "impeller obstruction extraction tool" I made and carry with me at all times. (See picture, the ruler is just for reference)

It is very simple to make and made from aluminum so it doesn't rust. For 5$ plus postage I'll send you one.

Using this tool and a flashlight I have removed sticks, rocks, miscellaneous trash even a Gatorade bottle top that was wedged between the impeller and wear ring without so much as turning a bolt.

I am thinking of replacing a 2006 RXP impeller that has a few dings on it. Does anyone know the pitch of the OEM unit and make any recommendations on quality aftermarket impeller for general riding?

its the image that you couldnt see...its the tool jampen makes. luckily i have never had to use any tools.

damn, for $5 I'll bend a piece of aluminum wire for you AND throw in the flashlite for free.

Anybody else get a load of those LED flashlites at Harbor Freight for $0.99 with the coupon? Really nice little flashlites to throw in each vehicle. I think I got 6 of them.
