I took apart both of my Pumps tonight off my 95 Speedster and am a little bit worried. First one came apart great no problems, broke free and spun right off by hand. Second one, not so lucky was really stiff and had to use the ratchet to take it all the way off. Lifted off the impeller and found out pretty quick why it was so tough. Im attaching some pics. What do you guys think? Do I need a new impeller shaft or can I just chase the threads? As well the Impeller, I am sending it away to have the blades done. Am I wasting my money? Should I just be getting a new one or will the threads be ok. Thanks to BMANN06 for letting me borrow his impeller tool or I would still be waiting for one to come in.
