bought a new boat, its registered as a 98 seadoo challenger 1400, but im extremely new to boats and am having a heck of a time finding anything online about a challenger 1400, just 1800's and straight challengers...so im not sure. Anyways, its missing the fuse block under the drivers consol and i cant find anything for a 98. i found the 96 has the block number 204470119, which supercedes a few other numbers. Is this the same one as mine? Any help will be greatly appreciated because i still havent been able to find a manual for my boat because it seems to be slightly rare, or registered wrong. (it has the duel rotax engines)
Thanks,
Brandon

How would I find out what it is? It's got the three main seats, bow seat, and rear Facing sun seat. Also it's 15 ft long I believe. (I don't have the title to check, I'm currently filing the paperwork to get the title.) the stickers all
Say challenger and it's green and white.

not 100% sure on length but its registered as a 15ft challenger 1400. Its got dual rotax engines on it. no trim that i know of, and its got the dual throttles. Thanks for all the help.

In 1998 Sea Doo manufactured the Sportster, Challenger, Speedster, Sportster 1800, and Challenger 1800. The Sportster, Challenger, and Speedster where all 14.5'. The Challenger 1800 and Sportster 1800 where 18'.

The Sportster had one 717 engine and the Sportster 1800 and Challenger had 2 717 engines.

The Speedster and Challenger 1800 had 2 787 engines.

Wow ok thank you! Looks like I have a challenger with twin 717
Engines. Makes sense. Thanks very much for that. I think I figured out what my empty plug in front of my
Consol is. The manual shows it being a lighted block that's
Supposed have a metal plug to connect all the wires
Together. It however does not have the plug currently
Anyidea where I can get one?

Actually, it is not a plug, but rather a bar that is under the cap and acts as a ground buss. If you take the cap off, you will see the buss bar inside. If the buss bar is missing, you can just cut a piece of copper and insert it inside the plug.
