Okay,

I had a chance to pick this ski up cheep and had fun with it for a couple of hours and decided to put a new prop wear ring in. Everything went fine and was excited to ride it again. Propulsion system seems to work great but now it will die about every 5-6 seconds when on the throttle. Idles fine and will always restart after it dies. If you let off the throttle it will stay running but you have to feather the gas for awhile. Sucked all the fuel out, put in some sea foam, refueled and still doing the same thing. Did I do something when changing the prop wear ring? or is this a fuel problem. I did take the fuel filter out and check it for debris. I figure this has to be one of three problems, fuel, air or electronic. Any help would be appreciated.

My guess is broken motor mount(s) allowed exhaust seepage into compartment, asphyxiating the engine. Rotax engines need to breath. Check the Stinger connection as possable leaker. Bills86e

So when you say Stinger, are you referring to one of the nipples connected to the prop housing? We put silicone around them before we reinstalled the housing but maybe it didn't seal tightly.
