I gotta say, I knew this was going to be the result of that iBR system when it was 1st introduced... much prefer my '06 RXT with direct cable operated throttle and reverse bucket!
They need to have the iBR electronics INSIDE of the hull where it can remain dry and use a cable actuator to the reverse bucket! It's the only way the things will ever be reliable IMHO. Bad design choice putting it where it gets submerged in water... not the 1st time they've made design decision mistakes though (ceramic supercharger clutch washers, hollow sodium filled exhaust valves, iS suspension system's that can sink the machine.... need I list more?). :-\
