Here is my pair of 1996 GTX's I picked up this past weekend. They need a little bit of work but I feel like I got a pretty good deal on them. I would like to see other GTX's to maybe get some ideas for different mat colors, seat covers, and whatnot. Thanks

I must say they look great, the drawbar looks like it has more rust than the whole trailor - even the license plate screws look good. If you make sure the fuel system is working well and compression is above 135 you have some nice riding coming your way very soon. Those were the first 787gtx models, there is a guy who rents barn space from my aunt and when he comes into the beach he pulls the reverse and then opens up the throttle to make a huge wake - his looks like this.

Thanks voodoo. From what I can tell this model seems to be pretty popular on here, which I am glad to see.

I've got a 98 GTX limited. Looks just like those. I can't see a difference. Same color and everything. Motor is different.

I have a pair of GTX's also. I'll see if I can find sd card with the pics of it and post one.:)

1997 gtx

Here's mine i bought in November! Still bone stock. I'd like to change to Hydromat as well. Thought about either a deep green or just black. I think Seadoosnipe has purple Hydromat on his. Yeah I agree with you Seadooya, I thought the GTX Limited in '98 was a burgundy color???

....Thanks and yeah man i totally agree. I need to swap those suckers out....lol someone said something about them when i first got the ski/trailer, but I just started riding it since winter. So that's next on my priority list!

No turf yet...

No, I don't have the turf on yet. I have some left over from last year but have since looked at the mats designed for the 97 GTX. The pre-cut mats from Hyrdro-Turf are a charcoal color. They are about $85 bucks before our discount, so I'm thinking of going with them instead. If not, I'll apply the purple for this coming year, then when I get the bucks, I'll change them later.

I really don't like that black rubber stuff because of the way it's buckled up.

Here's a pix of my ski with me and my two daughters on board, going out to do some tubing................

Here are a couple shots of my 1997 GTX. The second pic is my father in law with my daughter and the neighbours kid.

I know this is off topic. Sorry. Do yall use the eyes by the handle bars to tie your off?
I've ridden a couple of Ski's in my life time. I really think these are pretty stable. What do yall think? How is the strap on the seat holding up on yours?

What did you pay for your pair of skis?

I'm looking at a pair of 1997 GTX's and need to know what a fair price is.

Thanks,

Ron
