I've seen a few pic lately of skis on trailer with nose towards the rear of trailer. Is this a common thing. I guess it would be easier to unload this way!

The trend started in England. They have Lucas refridgerators. They like warm Beer. LOL :willy_nilly:

Next: Upside down on trailor? Would you reccommend for "winterizing"?

the only time i've done it is when moving a ski from 1 to another trailer... then u can use the winch on both to move them easily...

else, no, backwards for storage or working on them... else forwards.

Haha. Alright. I just thought I have no reverse so back it in jump on and take off... ill keep it forward then

Even if you loaded it backwards, unless you back the trailer way in the water you're not going to get the pump to draw water anyway. By then the ski would have just floated off the trailer.

Lou

Trailers are not designed to ride the skis on backwards. Exactly how are they attaching the winch straps to the ski if it is on backwards? My guess is they are not using the winch?

Not surprised the Brits thought of it, they drive on the wrong side of the road too :)
(Although, they will claim we do!)

With my luck I would hook it up backwards and a bird would fly into the exhaust and then it would be like the bananna in the tail pipe.

"Bananna in the tail pipe" That sounds like prison shower talk. What were you in for?

Hey Cous Jake. Now don't you go referring back to the old days.About Poor Lou.Don't think he'd take kindly to that!

If jake put hees ski on da trailor back ways and went to launch it he wouldn't know which ways to "mount" it as he's a creeeture of habits of sorts. Ya know aboot old dogs and new tricks syndrome. Hell they wood even have to rewrite the owner type manual and have to take new pitures fo it.

you could just imagine it at the ramp.
"No dear,the other way,S..it.The OTHER way.OK. That way.......Please get out.I'll do it
