If that is a ground within the e-box, it could be that simple.

Poor connect/voltage issue is the number one failure in the system.

That was a bolt to secure solenoid. ..replaced it...cleaned ground and applies dielectric grease

Problem is that if your not getting anything to the white wire on the coil, I dont think a new coil is going to fix the problem. Unless I am missing something here.

Recap
No power to white wire.
R/R unplugged (so it was not that)
Grounds connections are clean
Fuses good.

Next is the pick up coil and magneto

Test coil first. Unplug the 6 prong plug in the front magneto and check resistance. You will have to line up the wire colors and find the prong on the magneto housing to match the colors. Put one probe from your meter to the white wire and one to the black/yellow wire. Your reading should be between 190 and 300. This will tell you if the coil is toast but it will not tell you if the bracket on the coil broke off and the coil is dangling in the mag housing from a broken bracket, which isnt that common on a 97, the 96's had issues with this.

 
Don't know. ..I went.to.grocery store came back...tested the mag connection but it was on good. I still think she was flooded and needed to just sit awhile

Contact the seller and let them know what happened.
They may be alright with it and do a refund if they haven't shipped it.

Are u gonna take it to the lake and run the sh*t out of it now? Remember why all this started in the first place lol still need to make 100% there is no water in the motor

Yep, still need to drain the counter balance and add oil, then run this wang out of it, rinse and repeat, until the CB oil isn't milky.

oooh buddy, I am so happy for you, well done. It sucks that we dont know what the final cure was. How much was that coil, you have 3 skis that can use that, might not be a bad idea to keep it.

Get it out on the water and giver.

No crank at all? I'd re-visit all connections along the trail as something has come loose. Hopefully..
