Hows your weather?

Let's just say I've had the PWCs on the water 8 days out of the past 14 (went through nearly $500 worth of gas on the seadoos alone, and it's a 5 hour drive up to the lake  ) but it was a great time! Temps varied from high 70s to low 90s with low humidity

On sunday we took the boat out for the first time this summer. Zero for the ski so far.
Today at 10:15am it was 59 degrees and very windy. Feels like Canada , eh. :)

I would say you have not been in michigan much this summer then. This week will be in the 70s until friday then we are back to the 80s for the weekend. There was only 2 weeks this year that really sucked. Our skis have been used a lot. This weekend they will get a good 10 hours on them

Last sunday the temp was in the 90s here in Georgia and it was Hot, lake is only 20 minutes away.

I've been out so much this year I'm trying to make excuses so I can trailer the boat and work on it. I'm convinced that a little pump work might get me a few hundred RPM and hopefully a hole shot that does a better job up pulling me up on the single ski. This boat requires a bit of driver technique to yank me out of the hole, can't simply just nail it now. Not sure what happened except now the engine runs stronger it seems to be ventilating or cavitating around the impeller. This began right after I replaced the throttle cable ignition advance switch, might have to disconnect that thing if my driver can't relearn.....

Actually been in MI all summer, but that's the problem of working 5-6 days a week early afternoon shift. The temps on my off days have been lower than what I want or it's rainy. Plus many normal house things to work on first too. I woke every Sunday/Saturday unless I request it off.

decent weather this week, but forecast is for 30% chance of rain all weekend. i'm hoping it actually does rain so i won't feel so bad about being stuck in the garage working on this highlander flip project instead of being out on the lake.

This summer has sucked! Not even going to hit 70 today! Was up in Petoskey, MI last week...warmest it got to was 73...and windy!

Murph man you can't compare nortern mi with the metro area. The distance is like another state away. I work outside and the weather tempwise has been ok but the rain has sucked. This week has been the coolest so far. As for the rest of the summer it has been mostly in the 80s which is good.

Northern Mi is always 8-15 degrees cooler.

Just 3 weeks ago it was 99 for a week straight with 90-100% humidity

By the way its 74 in royal oak right now. Friday it will be right back to the 80s

Jetskigoodies...I know you can't compare, that was last week. I live downstate and work in Milford...it's 64 right now (2:00PM) here in Milford. The summer as a whole has been running approximately 10 degrees cooler this year than average normal temps for this time of year. Last summer was phenomenal, that probably adds to the frustration with this summer...the season is short enough here without unseasonably cool temps...I'm sure you can relate...

Ton of rain coupled with my working nights/weekends for the last month or so leaves me only taking my XP out once, yammi out twice.......this year. Granted we still have another 3 months of ski season here.

you guys may wanna check out like remax reality for a home here in florida, temp today was 97, with a 5-7 mph sea breeze light chop and this time a year, plenty of bikinis

I got out a couple times just before the 4th & just after. Nothing since. Now we are already hitting lows in the upper 40's at night & just over 70 during the day. Normally August is much warmer here. Don't get me wrong, the weather has been very nice, just not seadoo weather.

Typical summer in Raleigh - actually nice since we have had only a couple dozen days in the 90's and no triple digits. But when you don't have a ski to ride it kinda sucks. Bought a 98 GTX July 3 with the top end off of it and have spent the past 5 weeks on clean-up and rebuild. Received crank and top-end last Friday and began rebuild over the weekend. Many thanks to RacerXXX, Dr Honda, IDoSeaDoo, Grizz and Tonka for their advice with my many questions. Tough I am sure it would be fun out on the lake the time spent so far has been fun. I keep telling myself that I have until early Oct to ride here in Raleigh.

Jeez, maybe I'm the only one enjoying a nice summer. 90's for the last month or so. Almost no humidity.

Down side is, this is the summer of not riding. Just got the '95 out a couple of weeks ago for the first time. Took it to the lake for a 10 day camping trip. Took tons of extra fuel, etc.... Nobody rode it.

So I came home and sold it. And I'm selling the rest off too.

I just figure I can put the $$ into my shop (32X38) that needs finished. It has a 500 sq. ft. full height loft that will be the bar/football HQ.....

Not to mention the muscle cars I need to start on.

Now your talkin....... ;) I should look at it that way, & not worry about the season changes & temps. between PWC's, bikes, snowmobiles & cars, there is always something to do when free time is available, just seems the the PWC part is running short.

The large bay I live on has been smooth as glass. Of coarse this always happens when I'm super busy. I've been waiting on these conditions to hit on a Sat and Sun and last weekend they they did but I was slammed buying and selling skis. I'm looking forward to racking up high hours on my new found keepers so I hope this weather holds out.
