How to tie down PWC

I've had my Doo about 2 months now and I'm still trying to figure out how to tie it down on the back. I'm using ratchet straps. I have to put the ratchet mechanism on the bottom with rags against the hull so I don't scratch the bottom. The straps loosen up while towing and rags fall off. I can't put the straps on top. There has to be a better way. Help!!

You need to buy the correct length stainless, ratchet straps from a water craft dealer of marine.

I know this is an OLD thread, but did you get a solution you are happy with.

If not, I have owned many skis and trailers, I can easily steer you in a good direction. I had to seriously modify my existing trailer to do all I wanted to do.

I ended up using heavy duty straps and since the bottom of the ratchet ends up hitting the bottom I added a rubber pad to it.
