$5500 to $6500.

I know that sounds low... but the mod's, and custom parts don't mean much to the next owner.

I know you are in a warm part of the country... but most of us are getting cold. That means people who are willing to drive, can get a good deal if they are willing to drive north. There was a boat exactly like yours (but factory colors) and it was super clean. The owner made the mistake of putting it on eBay with no reserve price... and the final bid was only $3500.

I know it sux... but the economy is down, and winter is coming. (that means people don't spend money because of the up coming holidays) You will be better off parking it, and trying to sell next May.

I just bought an '04 Sportster (155HP) with 58 hours and flawless from a Seadoo dealer in Pennsylvania for $6300. End of season price! The dealer even said the 30 warranty will start when I put it in the water in the Spring.

guess thats one advantage of vegas-we can boat all year long. 55-65 sounds pretty good to me im not out to make a profit just pass along a great boat to somebody that will use it and enjoy it.and out of all the other forums i visit - this is THE BEST one. so friendly and helpfull. ohh yea i forgot to mention the only thing that doesnt work is the fuel gauge, but i believe there is a reply here some where on how to fix it!

Actually, you are probably only gonna get abot $500 - $1k for it. To be cool, I will give you $1200.

I will be by on Friday to pick it up. See you then!!

:D

Touché!!

I tell you what, if I win the lottery tomorrow, I will buy your boat for $6.5k and give you an extra $1200 just to be cool! (Title will be mine of course)

But in all seriousnous, it is a very nice looking boat. I like the mods you did, but as Dr. Honda has said, I don't see prices reflect any after market mods. At least not in the area I follow used boat sales. Sometimes, depending on the type of mod, it may lower the sell price.

I would not do ebay unless you list with a minimum price you are confortable with (cost to list dependant on your minimum price). Craigslist if free to sell on, and if I were you, I would start looking for similar boats in yours and surrounding areas to get a feel for the market there. Only then are you going to be able to price your boat right were it should sell fast and maximize profits for you. As you do have a year-round season in Las Vegas, you should expect to not have to lower your price a whole lot at this time of year.

I would list it for 7000 and give yourself room to go down. I think you could get 6k for it.

or i can run it for 12,000 and have a 1/2 off sale next week hows that for marketing? i did look at local craigslist boats butt not really any apples to apples most were those ones you drive from the back seat and were any where from 3900 to 5600

If you don't sell it right away, don't just give up for the winter... I work at a bank and see quite a few customers coming in with tax refund checks... (must be nice)... saying they will be purchasing a boat with the funds... especially with the new home buyer tax checks... we'll see quite a few more larger refunds.
