A friend helped me install my rebuilt 787 in a 1997 challenger. I was there to drop the motor in then went to get lunch. He started hooking up the oil lines. Being that the old motor used oil injection and i will now use a block off plate, there was an extra oil line(the one with the filter). Well, it got hooked to the engine where the pulse line for the carb goes. And since there was oil in the res. the engine filled with oil until it started to come out the rotary valves. SO, anyone have insight on correcting this? I took the line off the pulse port and am turning the engine by hand, it's pumping oil out but, taking a long time. Should i pull the motor back out to drain it?
