I have a twin engine boat and four jet skis – all Sea Doo. Three engines have superchargers. Other than taking them to a dealer, how can I tell the hours on them? I am thinking it could be time to rebuild the SC’s. Does someone sell a device to plug in for the info just like a dealer has? Or is there a way to check the SC’s by taking the cover off?

the RXT should have a hr meter, and I bet the 2 09s do as well, If they haven't been rebuilt yet then they need it! about every 2 years

Yes there is a CANDoo program you can buy. It's about $400 and does 4 VIN's and you then buy more VIN slots. Go to candooprodotcom

The '08 rxt-x is the only one (I see) listed in your info with an sc. If you haven't had it rebuilt yet...it's way past due.

Okay...the '09 SE is a 430?...in any case...if you haven't had them rebuilt they're way past due.

The washers need to be swapped at 100hrs or so...but so do the bearings.

I'd pull all three and send them in.

The 09 Challenger is the 510 hrs - twin 255 with SC. I am guessing the RTX has about 80 hours on it but I do not know. The boat is closer to 100 hours (guess). Thanks for the feed back I will check into purchasing CANDoo product.

You're overdue on both for a rebuild. Get them done with the upgraded rebuild kit ASAP.
