hole in tuned pipe.

Had the speedster out this week and found a leak in one of the tuned pipes.
It is coming from one of the metal plugs that looks like they are welded in the tuned pipe.
It's between a 1/16" and a 1/8" hole. Can I use JB Weld to fill the hole until I can locate
another tuned pipe? I am on vaction next week and would like to go boating if possible. Thanks Kermit

yup....jb weld will work. Use a wirebrush to clean it up first.

Well put in a new bilge pump in the speedster yesterday and Saturday afternoon put the JB weld on the tuned pipe.
This morning My wife and I took it for an hour run on the lake. New pump is working fine and no leaks from the tuned pipe.
So looks like our vacation this week will be a lot of boating. Thanks for your help. Kermit
