oh hell's ya, you can go thru arcadia, past brownsville and a good solid 50 miles up from there (assuming its been raining, can't be done during the dry season) it goes further than my tank goes, that's for sure, but we've launched from the 760 ramp (arcadia) and also from brownville road and headed north from there. thats where you find the twisties !!!!

when you get a chance, watch adambomb's video.

there's more but this is an idea of how far north they got... its not a "great" representation of the twisties, but its pretty dam good.
Damn, just looked it up real quick and saw that the Peace River is 106 miles! I never realized that. Definitely have to spend more time there!

Nice video, looks like a lot of fun! How deep is that river?

not very, during normal conditions I'm guessing its around 4 ft to 5, and gets higher when we have regular rains, and down to a foot (with some area's with just an inch of water over sand way upriver, so you really can't ride way up river during the dry season here, a couple of us locals were just discussing the need for one more good rainy weekend so we can sneak up to arcadia for one more ride. during the dry spell's we ride the harbor up to navigator and back, we have no choice. I was actually disappointed that the rains from Sandy didn't sneak over to this coast so it would open the peace up again.

you want machines that you have faith in, its a LONG tow if you break down 30 miles up river, and its not a river that I advise riding solo on except in the higher traffic area's. I always ride in pairs when we head up river.

Love rivers that twist like that. There's a run up near Williamsport, PA that is fun when it's deep enough... all of 2' lol

time to take out the ski's I don't care about and see how far we make it!
