Hi Guys i am new to this so please bear with me. I have been riding my ski for approx 2 years and today whilst flushing the ski as i do after every ride, my son shut off the engine before turning off the hose. In a panic he quickly restarted it. Although it still starts is has a horrible sound coming out of engine. been reading a few posts and suspect water may have been sucked into one of the cyliners. Checked the oil. Not at all milky. Turns over and starts bit the sound is awful for the few seconds i let it run.

any advice on what i may have done or how to rectify would be greatly appreciated.

Pull injector wires, pull coil pack wires, pull spark plugs.

Then roll the engine with starter, this will blow most of the water out of the cylinders. Put everything back and go ride when you get back to dock post back how it sounds.
