my seadoo bombardier is giving my grief! have only just got it, have no idea about them, but it wont start.
i just changed the batter because the old one was flat, and when i tried to start it it was turning but would't fire. now when i press the start button it starts to turn, but it stopes, like a clunking sound. can anybody help me?

Start by taking the spark plugs out and see if it will turn over. If it cranks good with the plugs out, I would turn it over for a few like that and clear anything out. then install new plugs and report back. on a side note are you getting spark?

Yep... if you have leaky center seals... you could have extra oil in the jugs.

I don't really understand much of what you said, i don't have a mechanical mind.
But i fixed the problem, turns out it was a flat battery, even though it was new!
