The 98 GSX Limited Im purchasing in the coming days never had a cover on it. The red is pretty beat and chaulky. Is there anything I can use to bring back the shine or is the damage already been done??

Had a detail biz for a few years, the only thing that ever worked at all was Gel Gloss. You can get it at home depot.
One new product that I am going to buy and try is NewGlass2.

Try using Mother synthetic wax for Marine boats. It did a good job bring back the color to my jet boat. Even to a pretty good job bring the color back where I used "On & Off" . On & Off is an acid which cleans the scum line off in an instant. I would not recommend using it caus eit will bleach out your color .
