HELP! Spring went off and now gone

hi!
Need some quick help from you.

One of thoose springs that holds the RAVE cap on place went loose and i cant finnd it.
Do anyone of you know what dimensions that spring has?
It is the big spring no 20 that holds the pressure on the RAVE walve thats gone...

help!

That part better come from seadoo. It will have to be the correct size AND spring pressure.

Hmm what will happend if i take two complete new with approx same dimensions and adjust the screw to get correct values?

if its the cap spring, you'll need to get from seadoo, if its the spring that goes under the cap and on top of the bellow, if anything, hit up an RC car store and get one, but bring the oem with you.

If itsthe cap spring, if anything, get some tie wire or something to hold it down

If you get one that fits but doesn't have the correct spring pressure, you will have RAVEs activating at who knows what rpm. I guess if they are the same spring, you can adjust the red cap in and out until you get them to open at approx 4000 rpms, or wherever you want them to open.

It´s the biggest spring that stays right underneath the cap that is gone.
I was dumb enough to just pull the wire of and bjoooong...the spring flew all the way to the moon...

So All in all, the only thing that can happen is that the RAVE till open and different RPMs? What will happend if they do?

The thing is, my girlfriend wants so bad to take a ride on saturday, and I will not have the time to get a orignal spring until then.
If she runs smoothley and stays below 4500 rpms, then it would be alright and no damage will occur? Right?
I am just so freakning scared that something will go wrong

i have a couple extra springs and o-rings. If you cannot replace yours, I can put these in an envelope and ship them your way.

I found that if I can fit stuff into a small padded envelope, it goes to sweden for about $5 USD. It only gets expensive when it gets to be box-sized.

But it will take about a week to 10 days to get over there. :ack:

Oh you would be my hero if you could send them to me!!!
I guess the stores here i sweden will import them from the states anyways...and that will probably take a DECADE or so ...:reddevil:

Are all RAVEs the same, using the same springs and o-rings?

Yes I found them localy, get them on monday.
I put another spring in yesterday and took it for a test ride...it run very very rough, idle was around 1000 rpms. Will install the new spring this week and take another ride.

I really hope she speeds up, otherwise I dont know what to do. I think I have those gray lines that everyone is talking about. Goint to attach it later tonight so you guys can verify it.
