Help guys (Rxpx 260 check engine)

Hello guys,

hope you are all doing fine and having fun with your PWC


I have rxp-x 260 2015 it has 30 hours now. During the break-in period (the first 10 hours) everything was just fine.

After the first 10 hours service I found out that when I press the start/stop button all the icons go on and off for a while (as usual) but when I insert the key the check engine icon by itself goes on for a while !!

I didn’t have this issue before the first service I have asked the dealer many times he said do not worry everything is fine !!

No it doesnt but the thing is I didnt have this issue before the first 10 hours service !?

There may have been some sort of an electronic (flash to the MPEM), if so, that would explain it. Ask the dealer if they normally plug in with the BUDS and if so, would they install an update if it showed there was one?

yeah he installed the latest update.

That sounds like the maintenance reminder on the new skis. If your dealer updated software, it will take care of it but it will come on again at 50 hours.
