Just splashed my 2001 Seadoo GTX. Started right up and idled nicely. When I got on it to take it for a spin and squeezed the throttle, it just bogged down and labored real hard and would not kick in. Thouht that maybe something was in the intake so put back on the trailer. After checking front and rear, nothing was found. Back in the water and bogged again. But, after being patient it took off and ran really good for about 2 minutes and then bogged down again. Kept trying to pump the throttle and move steering back and forth in case something was in the intake now but had to idle back to the dock. Pulled up on hoist and it would wind out when out of the water but would sputter some. Any ideas of the problem? Thanks

Sounds like a fuel problem. Do you still have gray tempo fuel lines?

If so you really need to replace them with rubber automotive hose. Also clean or replace the fuel filter, fuel selector valve and clean or replace the carb. filters. There are several threads on the subject.

Yes, if your still running those Tempo lines, your probably about 80% gummed up, most likely in teh micro filters inside the carbs. When you replace these lines, make sure you clean the fuel selector switch.

Coils in rear box may have gotten all wet. WD-40 will disipate the moisture on those electricals if that happened.
